At Casa UMU, every experience is led by people who have dedicated years to their craft, not to teach from a stage, but to share what life has taught them. In small groups, lived experience, diverse perspectives and meaningful encounters create the conditions for new insights to emerge. And because the most interesting voices are not always the ones with the biggest budgets, we reserve space for people who feel called to join but have limited financial means. They can apply for a place at a greatly reduced price by telling us why they would like to be at the table.

Casa UMU, why is it called like this, does UMU have a meaning?
UMU started as a symbol rather than a brand name. Sven noticed that the letters U-M-U appear naturally within a sinus wave, expressing rhythm, connection and flow. Only later did we learn that UMU also appears in different cultures, from 'shared beliefs' in some Arab traditions to 'Umuntu', the root of Ubuntu in Africa. A coincidence perhaps. Or simply the universe giving us the right name.
Why in a home close to nature, and why limiting yourself to nine participants?
Because meaningful change rarely starts in crowds. In nature, birds create beautiful murmurations by responding to just a few neighbours (6 to max 9). We believe people can do the same. Therefore Casa UMU is designed as a small place where ideas, inspiration and new perspectives can resonate; between people, and with nature.
How do you set your prices for these day-experiences?
We price our experiences based on value, not duration. A single day can sometimes change the direction of a life. That's what we design for: meaningful experiences that engage the head, heart, hands and senses; not another online course or collection of slides. Our groups are intentionally small, our facilitators bring years of experience, and we invest heavily in creating an environment where real shifts can happen. Besides, we're still considerably cheaper than most lawyers. And for sure more transformative. 😉
